Program Description
The Strength and Conditioning major prepares students to be leaders in the field of strength and conditioning, serving athletes in the high school, collegiate, professional, tactical, and private settings. Students will develop the knowledge and skills to design and implement evidence-based programs to enhance athletic performance and reduce the risk of injury as well as the skills necessary to communicate with key stakeholders including but not limited to athletes, athletic trainers, and sport coaches. This knowledge and these skills will be developed through multiple internship experiences, interactive and hands-on course work, and exposure to sports science technologies, practices, and data-driven decision making and implementation.
